Jazz speaks for life. The Blues tell the story of life's difficulties, and if you think for a moment, you will realize that they take the hardest realities of life and put them into music, only to come out with some new hope or sense of triumph.

This is triumphant music.

Modern jazz has continued in this tradition, singing the songs of a more complicated urban existence. When life itself offers no order and meaning, the musician creates an order and meaning from the sounds of the earth which flow through his instrument.

It is no wonder that so much of the search for identity among American Negroes was championed by Jazz musicians. Long before the modern essayists and scholars wrote of racial identity as a problem for a multiracial world, musicians were returning to their roots to affirm that which was stirring within their souls.

Much of the power of our Freedom Movement in the United States has come from this music. It has strengthened us with its sweet rhythms when courage began to fail. It has calmed us with its rich harmonies when spirits were down.

And now, Jazz is exported to the world. For in the particular struggle of the Negro in America there is something akin to the universal struggle of modern man. Everybody has the Blues. Everybody longs for meaning. Everybody needs to love and be loved. Everybody needs to clap hands and be happy. Everybody longs for faith.

In music, especially this broad category called Jazz, there is a stepping stone towards all of these.

dream delusions i recall

so i was doing some work for a company a self proclaimed established studio (even though they have NEVER made one film)

and i have conflict with the director of investments because he is to put it straight a liar and what is more i find out a user

i receive a letter from dream delusions a cease and desist nullifying our agreement and stating that they "......will cease communication with any and all investors/brokers introduced to you to date'

letter is dated november 20 2008

then i find out that the 'director of investments' has been working on not one but two of my connections as late as november 24 2008

and i have a talk with their corporate blowfish and i tell him i will not have my reputation besmirched and he says to me: 'what could we do you have not already done?'

now there are a good number of people who don't like me because if you are a liar or a jerk i will tell you so but no one can pin any dishonesty on me

well i doubt they will get their 100 M but if they do my lawyer is ready to 'follow the money trail' and if it comes back to me i will sue and never have to think about money for the rest of my life

oh yes the 'film studio' shares an POBox with two other film studios all with the same principals and not one actual production amongst them

Dana -- as you can tell this is an area that causes confusion and concern for many people, and solid answers are few and far between. If you are talking about a US PP to US investors, two concerns arise. First, each state has the authority to govern the conduct of brokers (and persons who should be registered as brokers) and so-called "finders". In some states like California recently-passed laws have imposed fairly draconian penalities and liabilities for both the finder and the issuer. Dear Aurora

It is indeed my honour and priviledge to have the acquaintance of such a single minded and individual individual. For you see, as the world is full of sheep with their heads down munching their little areas of grass, there are some who are not sheep. There are some - a few - who soar with the winds. And like the winds, they can reach heights of dizzying greatness ... yet ... with breathlessness and beating hearts may not at first find their home in such a trouble filled world as ours.

But that is the point - their hearts do beat. They beat with the thundering hooves of a thousand charging horses rampaging across ancient plains. They beat with the unmistakable flurry of sails straining with the storms as they are carried beyond the edge of the world to where no one else dares explore. They beat with the sounds that is so human to almost be lost in a world of inhumanity.

These are the ones who are the future of our world. We are such ones. You and I both. This is why it is my great honour for our lives to have touched. No matter how briefly, no matter at such unimaginable distance - still they have touched and in the coldness there has been that brief, oh so brief, breath of warmth so we are sure we are not alone.

And as we are caught by the winds of fate cascading, we indeed may be carried far into the night where we will glisten with the symphony of sunlight within our aura. And those who are fated to stand only on the earth may perchance raise their heads to glimpse in wonder at the stars in the night sky that we are - dancing with light, creating hope, creating a path for others to follow so they may realise ... there is more to life.

There is no separation between what is showing up on the outside and what is on the inside, they are both an extension of one another.

Another way of saying it is, the outside is a manifestation of your unconscious and conscious wiring.

Work on clearing the unconscious and letting go of taking certain things on - for example, beliefs, patterns, what other people want you to do, or what you think you should do and then alot of it will drop away.

You can attract alot of energy around you, so I am sure at times you would just have to create some silence and or go to the ocean and empty out, so you can be clear psychicly on a mental and emotional level.

i was walking down the sidewalk one day and saw a butterfly on the ground so i knelt down to see if he was ok (i don't know why i don't think hurt butterflies are fixable i think if he was hurt i wanted to at least get him to some greenery) and he flew into my open hand as i stood up

i felt so honored i just stood there and after about ten minutes he or she flew away

and once i was swimming in the ocean and a school of little fishes swam all around me (they tickled) i swam about for about half an hour and they kept swirling around me the rest of the water was clear i felt they liked me

when i swam to shore they followed me in and i was afraid they would be caught in the surf and be stuck so i got back in the water and shooed them into deeper water ... i was talking to them saying 'no you can't come with me it's not safe for you'
